It’s Fall – A Quick Grounding Breakfast!

It’s Fall – A Quick Grounding Breakfast!

The leaves are going to start changing color and you may have noticed the air is lighter, a little crisper and more clear. The mornings are a little cooler signaling the cooler weather. It is an important time to prepare the body for the coming colder months.

You may have noticed your appetite increasing as the temperature drops. You may also have noticed that you are craving sweet, moist foods such as dates, sesame seeds and oats. Your morning fruit bowl no longer looks as appetizing and on days when eating ‘on-the-run’ is inevitable: try this date, cardamon oat cup for breakfast!

The grounding. stable nature of dates and oats will help balance the erratic, cold, mobile qualities in Fall.

Date Cardamom Oat Jar.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 3 medjool dates
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup

  • 1/2 cup coconut milk

Directions
