Sanctuary Highlights
Peaceful Location
Our retreat venue is a beautiful campus surrounded by fruit trees with a bubbling creek, perfect for rejuvenation. We chose Soltane because Camphill Soltane was named after the Parzival legend. In the story, a young man named Parzival grows up in an idyllic clearing in the woods, wherein his strength can be nurtured until he is ready to leave his home and fulfill his destiny in the world.
The name of that clearing was Soltane. The grounds include a trickling water fountain, located just inside a tranquil greenhouse set at a balmy 70° year-round and adjacent to the wildflower memorial garden. lush vegetation and a large firepit overlooking the creek.
The rooms are in different houses and are modern and meticulously decorated, with large porches to sit and gaze out over the lush gardens. You will have plenty of time to enjoy the serene outdoor space.
Meditation & Yoga
Dive a little deeper into your yoga practice with a peaceful, open-air practice at the fruit trees or in the greenhouse. This retreat will include yoga sessions each day in various beautiful outdoor locations.
The style of yoga is a dynamic mix of slow-flow vinyasa and restorative led by Kerry and Lisa, your retreat leaders. Sessions will also include breathwork and guided meditation. All levels are welcome.
Activities
This retreat includes yoga and meditation classes, family-style meals, group sound healing, classes to learn about Ayurveda cooking, and seasonal eating. Optional treatments like Abhyanga, Ayurveda Facials, and Shirodara are available as well as beautiful hikes and much, much more.
You will also have time for quiet reading, exploring, swimming, and relaxing – whichever you choose! We will be staying nestled in a farm-like setting, so expect gorgeous, peaceful views.

Ayurvedic treatments are powerfully effective in their ability to purify toxins and imbalances as well as nourishing, deeply relaxing, and luxurious. Our expert practitioners will customize oils and herbs to your unique dosha and needs, ensuring your therapies remove impurities, restore balance, boost your immunity, and promote vitality and wellness. Our therapists work with your body to encourage stress relief, growth, and healing—bringing you into an open, blissful, and restored state.
Kerry, Master Ayurveda Practitioner conducts an in-depth doshic evaluation to determine what your natural state of being is, identify any imbalances, explore concerns, and set health and wellness goals together. Ayurveda emphasizes self-care techniques that can bring you into balance, through diet, lifestyle (including exercise), stress management, and if needed, herbs and seasonal cleansing.
Through the fusion of Western science and the ageless wisdom of traditional Ayurveda, Uniquely Your products blend pure formulations to dynamically repair and regenerate the skin. This customized facial treatment nourishes your skin and brings harmony to the doshas, supporting and encouraging your innate beauty.
Abhyanga is one of the most popular and recommended therapies in Ayurveda. This Ayurvedic therapy incorporates warm, aromatic oils, rhythmically massaged into your body, which loosens toxins, relaxes the nervous system, and provides rest, nourishment, and rejuvenation.
Because of the profound effect it has upon the consciousness, it has often been called “Bliss Therapy.” Shirodhara is a continuous pouring of warm oil in a slow, steady stream on the forehead that helps to pacify the subtle aspects of the doshas: nourishing the nervous system, promoting relaxation and tranquility, and improving mental clarity and comprehension.
One of the most restorative treatments for the body and mind, Marma stimulates specific energy points that rejuvenate the vital organs of the body, settle the nervous system, and pacify the Doshas.
You may be fully clothed during this treatment, which focuses on energy centers rather than muscle or tissue.
