Fall means Vata Dosha is on the rise. To help keep it balanced, we’ve created this unique, delicious smoothie for you to try, using organic pumpkin.

Ingredients
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (you can use organic whey or vegan protein)
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
2 pitted dates
1 tablespoon flax seeds
1/2 cup canned organic pumpkin (or use freshly cooked and pureed – that gives best taste)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
Pinch of cardamom
Pinch of nutmeg
1 teaspoon organic ghee or organic coconut oil
1 teaspoon Maca Powder (excellent for balancing Vata Dosha)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Doshic Action
Balancing for all 3 doshas. For kapha, use more ginger, and have only on occasion.
